Glass Harmonica |

Hello my dears!
Today I was invated to see the Brighton Philarmonic Orchestra, and what I can say.. It was delightful!! Apart from being my first experience, as classical music always has been introduced in my life by TV cocerts or Radio or Cd's.. Very, very nice! The concert was divided in four composers Ives- "Central Park in the Dark" with impressionistic strings, but very dense in its totallity, evoking the sounds of the night. Butler- "Concertino for Piano and Chamber Orchestra" has been one of my favourites where the piano was a rain of sounds, watery living in a cascade of scales.. Wow, I was completely impressed! Rave- "Mother Goose Suite" dreamy tunes acommpanied by harp, beautiful instrument, and what it really call my attention was this small alike organ, "the celeste" very vibrant instrument, very playful. Saint-Saens- "Carnival of the animals" where all the instruments were transformed into a trip in the zoo.. Solos of 2 pianos and chello.. Mmmmmh!! Here in this sequece is where I could found the sound of the mysterious instrument that it was intriguing my curiosity since the interval : "the galss harmonica" Chan chan chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!! Because my curiosity gets the best of me, as soon as I got home, I search in the internet and here I leave you a link to play around and find out the beautiful sound of this instrument.. Gute appetite!! Glass Armonica Nada - 8. Okt, 19:42
